Increase Your Longevity

The six of us have goals to live to be at least 100 years old, and we all believe that it will definitely happen. Longevity and health is very important to us, and we are here today to share our tips on longevity with you.

1. Eat healthy and nourishing foods

You don’t want to eat a lot of processed junk. Eat more fruits and vegetables. Eat more food that makes you feel good, that makes you feel energized. Cut down on sugar.

2. Don’t smoke or drink alcohol

Smoking is so bad for your health. Whether you smoke cigarettes, pipes, or cigars, smoking is so damaging, and smoking is a sure way to cut down your lifespan. Alcohol can also be very unhealthy. Alcoholic beverages are full of sugar, and alcohol is horrible for your liver.

3. Maintain a healthy weight

Being overweight causes so many health issues. These health issues can greatly affect your life.

4. Get rid of stress

Stress leads to so many conditions. Cultivate a way to deal with stress as with meditation, relaxation, prayer, etc. Stress can really do a lot of damage to your body and your life. Do everything you can to do away with stress.

5. Keep your head active

Learn new things. Read a lot. Go to book club discussion groups. Do crossword puzzles. Keeping an active mind as that will go a long way in increasing your longevity.

6. Laugh a lot

Laughter really is the best medicine. The more you laugh, the more joy you will have. The more joy you have, the longer you will live.

7. Be positive

Having a positive attitude can really go a long way with longevity. Studies have shown that a positive attitude can help people to fight off sickness and have better health.
